Prayer Guide for 2012-01-22 to 2012-01-29 (week 4)

1 Corinthians 10:6-13

• Pray that we as a community will not desire evil.
• Pray against idolatry and that we would recognise idolatry in our lives.
• Pray that we would not indulge in fleshly things and in sexual immorality.
• Pray that we would see and know the consequences of sin.
• Pray that we do not put Christ to the test.
• Pray that we will no longer grumble.
• Pray that we would look to history and learn from the mistakes Israel has made.
• Pray that we would not have a false sense of righteousness, that each would examine themselves.
• Thank God that whatever temptation we are going through others have also been through.
• Praise God for his faithfulness - that he will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear.
• Praise God for providing a way out of temptation and for giving us the ability to endure it.
